CHATEAU LABEGORCE

Château Labegorce dates back to the Grosse family in the 14th century. It was the one of the largest estates in the region for many years. The current Château was built in 1821.

Château Labegorce is currently managed by Nathalie, who is the daughter of Hubert Perrodo who brought the estate in 1989. Perrodo is also behind L’Abbé Gorsse de Gorsse and Labégorce Zédé.

Located in the Margauz commune in the Médoc region, the estates vineyard was planted on gravelly terrain. The estate grows about 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. It also grows Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
